The Church of San Pedro in Villalcázar de Sirga, Palencia is the oldest temple in the locality, dating back to the 11th century and rebuilt in the 16th. This parish church has a simple yet unique construction style that combines limestone, brick, and adobe. Currently, it is privately owned property. It originally belonged to San Zoilo de Carrión. In Santa María la Blanca, you can find the 16th-century baptismal font from the Church of San Pedro after it was moved there when the parish disappeared. The church had multiple uses afterwards, including schools, town hall, and a wine press, before being sold for good. It still preserves an interesting Mudéjar-style ceiling art.
