San Francisco Peaks

San Francisco Peaks North of Flagstaff Arizona - You're headed straight for Humphreys Peak, the highest point in Arizona (12,633 feet). I captured this picture looking eastward from my location. It was constructed using 1 arcsecond resolution SRTM data gathered during a Space Shuttle mission. I used an unreleased version of SRTM2STL software to create it. If you're interested, the source code for creating 3 arcsecond resolution files is available on GitHub under the GNU license. Just head over to GitHub and search for SRTM2STL - it's worth a look.
