Many secrets surround the coffin of Irethoreru, a figure whose life and death remain shrouded in mystery. We know nothing about Irethoreru's hometown or burial site, nor do we understand his occupation. Moreover, the exact location of Irethoreru himself is unknown today. Nevertheless, his coffin now rests at the San Diego Museum of Man, where it was donated in 2001. Our researchers believe that Irethoreru may have been buried in Middle Egypt and lived during the 26th Dynasty or later, based on the style of his coffin.
