<p>The files contained make up a high quality model of a Samus Helmet from Metroid. The separated files allow for ease of printing at full scale on smaller format printers. Print orientation was decided intuitively in Cura slicer, note that there will be lots of supports! To decide the scale of the model scale the blank head model provided according to your own head dimensions and ensure that it fits within the opening of the assembled model. For filament a waxy or sand-able matte filament is recommended. </p><p>If printing in many pieces attach using superglue to temporarily hold things in place and follow up with soldering the pieces together along the seams inside the helmet. Fill in larger gaps with wood filler, spackle, or similar. Prime with a sand-able filler primer and sand from from 150 to 600 grit until smooth. </p><p>Spray a golden metallic undercoat followed by a dupli-color metalcast red.
