Samurai Helmet wearable
pinshape
Hey Everyone I've been itching to share this with you all for a while now, and here it finally is. This fully wearable creation measures about 200mm in helmet bowl diameter, so feel free to scale it up or down as needed. It's a lengthy print job, with each part taking around 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete at a rate of 0.25. To get the best results, be sure to orient the parts for optimal printing. I found that the peak performs best when printed on both ends, and while supports are necessary in most cases, they're relatively small. Some parts are self-explanatory, like the Front plate which requires three prints - you'll also need to glue them together, but don't worry, they come with handy location tabs to make assembly a breeze. With several different components to choose from, pick your favorites and get creative! Once you've completed the build, it's time to add some color with a fresh coat of paint. If you decide to give this project a try, be sure to share some photos - I'd love to see how yours turns out. Thanks for checking it out.
