The title reads, "Wheels," a solo work from visual artist Samuel Balmaceda, showcased at Art13 London 2012 and again at the 9th Istanbul Design Biennial in Turkey, where the public could appreciate the entire scope of his oeuvre for two full years. A total of eight different bicycles hang on an intricate latticework system made entirely out of aluminum rod frames covered in an impressive collection of vibrant LED lights. This show piece demonstrates how the use of technology can greatly influence design.
