Samsung Wireless Surround Headboard Speaker Hanger
thingiverse
I crafted this custom solution to securely mount Samsung HWA-8500s wireless surround speakers from my headboard. These speakers perfectly match the sleek look and sound of the Samsung M360 soundbar with subwoofer. The design boasts several innovative features, including: * A hidden wiring channel within the hanger that keeps cables out of sight. * A convenient exit port on the back of the hanger for easy wiring access. * Strategically placed 45-degree angle holes that eliminate the need for any additional support structures. My headboard's unique tufted design and narrow back-to-front width of 3.5 inches inspired the creation of this custom solution. The design's simplicity is a testament to its effectiveness, blending seamlessly with the speakers when printed in black. The thin screw head that protrudes from the hanger into the speaker is carefully designed to fit snugly within the speaker's back panel, minimizing visual impact. I rigorously tested the stability of the assembly by shaking my headboard, simulating real-world scenarios. The combination of PLA durability and gravity ensured a remarkably stable setup, even when assembled and disassembled multiple times without compromising any parts. Note: To ensure a precise fit, the printed screw requires sanding and filing to match the hanger's dimensions. I applied super glue for an additional layer of security, ensuring a solid bond between the screw and the hanger. For optimal results, print this design twice to hang both surround speakers securely in place.
