This cover is designed specifically for the latest Samsung Gear VR model. Powered by a phone charger, it connects to the VR to charge your device on the go. Fast Charge Compatible!! The design of this cover builds upon the current one, requiring some assembly to get started. To source the necessary parts, I recommend the following: * A Dual Male Y Micro USB cable (a short cable that can be soldered directly to a fan) - available at http://amzn.to/1Y20Jgi * Any 80mm 5vdc brushless fan with a brass sleeve (I salvaged mine, similar to http://bit.ly/22RPvlh) The attachment method is based on the current cover design, but it's not the most ideal. Some fine-tuning may be required using a knife for an optimal fit. For improved performance, you can glue a shielded NEO magnet behind the fan (between the fan bracket and the phone). This will attract your device's internal magnet, used to attach to wireless chargers. Ensure that the shield faces the fan or it won't work properly. This cover has worked exceptionally well for my Note 5, eliminating abhorrent heat buildup.
