I get excited about creating solutions to everyday problems. If you're one of those people who owns a sleek, high-end Samsung LCD TV with its distinctive chrome base, and you're looking for a way to elevate it slightly, this project is tailor-made for you! As someone who's been in your shoes, I know exactly what you're dealing with. My own Samsung TV stand works great until I want to add a soundbar underneath – that's when things get tricky. The soundbar fits perfectly, but the stand needs to be lifted about 2.25 inches off the surface. Initially, I used four sturdy business card holders to create a makeshift riser. Who would have thought that Moo business cards come in such robust boxes? I was determined not to waste them, and when brainstorming ideas for elevating my TV stand, I considered designing and printing custom risers using 3D technology. But let's be honest – laziness often gets the best of me! Instead, I resorted to placing the boxes under each corner of the stand, which worked surprisingly well but wasn't exactly a stylish solution. Months later, I realized that creating a simple design would make it easy to produce multiple copies. By designing something symmetrical, I could reduce the complexity and number of prints required. And that's exactly what happened – the result is the elegant riser you see before you! I hope this project inspires someone out there to find their own creative solution to a pesky problem!
