Samsung T7 SSD Low-Profile Holder
thingiverse
This is just a very basic holder for a Samsung T7 portable SSD. It has a lower height than the SSD itself so it doesn't add any thickness to whatever you stick it to. I've included the FreeCAD file as well if you want to change anything. It is a snap fit, so when you are sticking it to whatever surface you need to make sure you use SSD as a spacer so you get a strong snap when you remove and reinsert it. The tape I used is "Scotch Mount" model: 410H which is commercially available at most US hardware stores at the time of posting this. You can use any double sided tape you want, but keep in mind that if the thickness of the tape is different than the tape I used (~0.9mm) you will need to update the CAD files and re-export the mesh. I've made this very simple to change by using a spreadsheet in the FreeCAD file called "Dimensions" with a variable called "TapeThickness" that can be used to update the model to whatever thickness of tape you want. To stick it to your laptop of whatever, just firmly press the double sided tape into it then cut off the excess with a razor blade or scissors, peel off the backing, and stick it to whatever you want. Make sure you do a good job of trimming the tape away so the SSD can sit flush with the mating surface. Both halves of the holder are symmetric so you just need to print two of the attached stl. I also got [these](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PK627S8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details) right angle connectors so the USB cable doesn't stick out as much. Here are the ones I used, though I'm sure their are others out there:
