This enclosure offers a degree of weatherproofing for the Samsung SmartThings Multipurpose Sensor GP-U999SJVLAAA. Please be aware that this feature is exclusive to the newer model; the older model has a distinct shape. The dimensions are tailored specifically to my gate but are fairly standard. The smaller box on the left contains the magnet, and it's recommended to attach the small lid with superglue after placing the magnet inside. The part that attaches to the gate is in two parts that can be superglued together to accommodate the gap between your gate and the post. The right-hand side (the post side) has a removable lid allowing for easy battery replacement when necessary. I secure everything using black cable ties, which are working effectively so far; I haven't had to glue or screw anything to the gate or post. The supports needed are only for the Fence Bracket.
