Samsung S7 QI car holder/charger

This is a just-slide-in-your-phone car holder/QI charger I made for my Samsung S7 with thin protective cover and designed specifically for the connection on the one I already had. I was getting tired of constantly plugging in my phone all the time. There are only three parts: the holder itself, which has a cavity for the QI electronics; the QI charger electronics (available at [www.banggood.com](http://www.banggood.com)); and the connection plate/cover for the electronics. Since I designed this especially for my situation (dimensions of my phone/cover and my existing holder), I'm also sharing a link to the design ([a360.co/2JhB8i9](http://a360.co/2JhB8i9)) so you can create your own version. Keep in mind that the walls between the spool and the back of the phone need to be as thin as possible, and the placement of the spool relative to the phone is critical. Most of the time, the receiver in the phone is located in the middle of the back, so check this first. This can be done easily with the unmounted electronics, which will light up blue when they're working correctly (no flickering!). I printed this holder using clear PETG. To do it yourself, print the holder vertically and the backplate flat on the bed. It keeps well in a hot car; last week, it was as high as 27°C with lots of sun, but I had no issues whatsoever.
