I was fed up removing the shell from my phone each time I used the Samsung VR headset. So I designed a compatible shell that links my Oculus VR to my Samsung S7 seamlessly. The intricate pattern (Arabic, Asian-inspired) on the back is generated by repeating the shape of the camera's perimeter; it's a clever touch! I put this design through its paces with both flexible filament and PLA filament. The PLA holds up better on the phone, but you sacrifice the shock-absorbing effect in case of a drop.
