The controller for Duetwifi has an integrated web server that supports a webcam with an IP. I had an old S4 lying around that couldn't be used as a phone anymore, but it still worked with Wi-Fi. I installed the Webcam app and it works perfectly! So this is my first idea for a mount to connect to one of my 2020 beams on the FT5. Added a 45-degree version; adjustment should be easier. **Modifications** After some time, the previous design showed cracks because the S4 was too heavy. I redesigned both connections and kept the same principle. I increased the size of the balls from 15 to 20mm, which is a 77% increase in surface area and more friction. I changed the connector to a separate piece (lock) with two bolts. The lock has to be printed twice. This one works for me now. I printed all the pieces in PETG with 20% infill using a 0.6mm nozzle: - The holder standing up (no support needed): 0.4mm layers - Both ball joints on their flat surface: 0.32mm layers - The connection bar flat on the bed with support: 0.32mm layers - Locks: 0.32mm layers **Other hardware** - Two M3x14 to fix the holder on the small ball joint - Four M3x20 for the connection bar - Twelve M3 washers - Six M3 nylock nuts - Two M5 bolts and nut for the connection with the 2020 beam **Important remarks** The S4 becomes quite hot when in use as a webcam unless you take some measures to avoid overheating: - Remove the back panel (do not remove the battery; it is held in place by the holder) - Select an option in the webcam app to continue in the background and switch the screen off (you don't need to see on the screen what's happening or do you?) - I will test if installing a small fan would be an option An IP webcam should have a fixed IP address. For those who don't know how to do it on Android: - Connect to the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to - Go into Wi-Fi settings and long press on the Wi-Fi the phone is connected with - Choose the second option: "Modify Network" - Select show advanced options - Change IP-settings from 'DHCP' to 'Static' - Enter IP address and gateway
