This phone mount for windshield was designed specifically to work with a phone holder sucker leg, which I purchased around 4 or 5 phones ago. To prevent the USB jack from coming loose, this holder comes equipped with a DIY fast wireless charger PCB that uses Qi technology. The size of the holder fits perfectly on my Note 5 with a thin protective silicon case and does not cover the camera, buttons or stylus. The springs are supposed to be secured in place with small screws. Unfortunately, I only found one spring at the moment and had to cut it into two shorter ones and use a piece of paper clip as an extension for the spring. An aluminum plate was added to reinforce the plastic back. To adjust the bracing to your needs, you can refer to the SketchUp sources provided.
