The pocket for the hex nut is designed to be smaller than a standard 1/4" nut. To assemble, hold the nut with pliers and heat it with a candle for about a minute. Align the heated nut to the pocket and push it into position. The heat will melt the plastic (I used PLA) and solidify around the nut, locking it in place. Optional Base Clipping: You can also experiment with clipping the base into the dock without epoxy. However, this may not work depending on your printer's capabilities. If it doesn't work, simply break off the tabs on the base and use epoxy to assemble instead. Usage Instructions: Desk Mode: Connect the wire, drop in your phone, and you're ready to go. Interior Slot for S7: The slot can be resized for different phones if needed. Printing Instructions: Use your preferred settings. I used 2mm layers, 2mm shell with 20% infill on both pieces.
