Samsung Note 10+ stand

I designed this stand in FreeCad and the FC file is included here to allow modifications to fit different phones. The pivot hinge bolt is a 1/4X20X4 1/2 bolt, it will stick out the other side a bit but doesn't require a nut there. If you can find a 4 1/4 inch bolt that will be about flush on the outside of the hinge flange. The bolt runs through both base hinge holes but the tightening nut fits in the space between one outer base hinge flange and the upper stand hinge. This allows tightening without putting excessive lateral strain on the base hinge flanges. I printed this first with the parts in the normal orientation but decided the phone frame would be stronger if it was placed on it's side on the build plate. You will need support under the hinge or it will deform. The phone snugly fits in the uprights and you can tighten the hinge bolt enough that you can adjust the angle of the phone. You may have to use a small rat tail file to fille out any imperfections in the bolt hole. Alternately you could just ream it with a 1/4" drill. This is a very sturdy stand but doesn't fold fully flat so it's not something you want to carry in your pocket. Best for home use with Zoom or taking group photos.
