I like to have a caliper handy when I'm designing to check as I go and after I print when I need to check or adjust fit.  This clips on with a flexure for tension.  It is sturdy enough to hold either the carbon fiber or metal calipers securely.  It is printable without supports due to careful design.  There is a circular cutout for calipers with knobs and a bump to hold it straight.
