Samsung Galaxy watch / Gear S3 charger dock stand

This is a simple charger dock stand designed specifically for the Samsung GearS3 smartwatch. I'm absolutely thrilled with this tiny powerhouse and wanted a more convenient stand that allows me to keep my watch vertical while it's charging on my desk, which feels much more natural from my perspective. So, I decided to build myself a discreet and straightforward stand where I can fit the charger horizontally. The built-in magnet in the charger keeps the watch securely in place without requiring any tools or expertise beyond possibly some light sanding. The dock also stays safely in position due to its snug fit and conical base shape; simply insert it into the stand. This stand is compatible only with the original Samsung charger, as I've discovered that some third-party chargers don't fit (I have a few of them). To make assembly even easier, I recommend inserting the USB cable through the stand before you insert the dock into the stand. No support is required for printing; all overhangs are set at 45°. Print the part in the supplied orientation. Also, the easy removal of the dock makes it convenient to keep it in your pocket if needed. It's recommended to print this part in ABS in case you need to do some light sanding. I've also provided a model without text engraving for those who prefer it that way. To prevent the stand from sliding around, I recommend attaching some 3M or gummy anti-slide tags to the base. This stand is designed specifically for the original Samsung charger; I haven't tested any third-party chargers yet. UPDATE (20-DEC-2016): The height of the dock has been increased by 3mm to enhance its grip, so a bit more force will be needed to insert it. Sources and models have been updated accordingly; this is just a minor update for convenience's sake. New pictures have been added, along with a new model featuring the Samsung logo – no support required. UPDATE (21-DEC-2016): I've posted some new pictures of a fresh build. I'm using sharpies instead of paint because, well, let's just say it's my "poor man's paint." UPDATE (25-JAN-2017): Some users reported that the original Samsung cable didn't fit too well, so I increased the hole dimensions to resolve this issue. Models and sources have been updated accordingly – if your cable already fits, there's no need to update. UPDATE (06-FEB-2017): As requested by some users, I've added a new model with a taller base (70mm instead of 53mm). If your part is already working fine, you don't need to update. UPDATE (07-DEC-2018): I've added a taller model featuring the Galaxy watch logo.
