I just got my hands on the Samsung Galaxy S9+ and I realized my old S3 phone holder won't fit anymore because it's too small, so I decided to create a version 2 that fits perfectly around the new phone without a case. This new design is specifically tailored for phones like mine, which are not encased in bulky covers. It works amazingly well in my car and performs much better than my old friction mount. Unlike the previous version, this one consists of two separate parts - I flipped the bottom part upside down and then glued them together afterwards to ensure a seamless fit. If you encounter any issues with warping surfaces, try printing a skirt or raft around it for added stability. The hole in the cup-shaped section is designed to accommodate cables that you might need to connect your phone to while driving.
