Samsung Galaxy S8+ Phone Case for PLA Printing
thingiverse
I'm learning Fusion 360 and since cases are hard to find for Galaxy S8+, I decided to design this complex case and print it myself. I've included a standard case with no cutouts as well as one where I removed the Dungeons and Dragons logo. The attached photo shows my first print in eSun Cool White PLA+. It's noticeable that once the phone is in the case, the logo will be backwards. I've since updated the model if you just want a nice D&D case of your own. I've also included the Fusion 360 file for anyone who wants to create their own designs. You can print this case in PLA and the phone fits right into place and stays firmly. No need for flexible materials, and since I haven't used them myself, I couldn't tell you how well they would work. EDIT: I've started printing with Ninjaflex, but this case will not work as a flexible case. The edges of the phone need to be exposed in order to use the entire screen, and I don't see how I could make it stay in place. EDIT: I added a Stormtrooper STL case that looks great printed in white on a black phone! I've also included the SVG file used to create it from scratch, should you want to try working it out in Fusion yourself.
