Over time, the micro-USB port wears out so the micro-USB plug gets a looser fit. Due to this, the plug can come out too easily, connection can be broken, and the life span of the contacts is reduced. This Thing resolves this issue without an expensive or difficult repair. The space between the plug and the aluminum smartphone housing is filled, creating a well-fitting input. The part is thin so that most phone cases can be used over it. It remains stuck and becomes strong by sticking it to the bottom and back of the smartphone with double-sided adhesive tape. Probably the most common problem that cause a looser fit, is that the USB port is clogged with fabric and debris wich can easily be removed with a sharpened tooth pick.
