After witnessing 3E8's ingenious design for iPhones, I decided my Samsung deserved an upgrade. The ring functions as a spring-loaded mechanism to firmly grasp the phone in place. A standard 1/4" 20TPI nut is integrated into the base. I printed mine from PLA with a precise 0.25mm layer height and enabled support structures for added stability. Hopefully, this information proves useful to someone, and once again, thanks are due to 3E8 for their brilliant idea.
