I recently fabricated a sturdy stand for my Samsung Galaxy S5. After surveying the surrounding area, I failed to locate an inexpensive stand that would securely cradle and hold the phone firmly in place. However, when properly assembled, this custom stand grips the device tightly, ensuring it won't come loose at any time. To make removal slightly easier, one can modify the upper attachment by carefully trimming it down with a file to accommodate a more precise fit.
