Samsung Galaxy S5 Active Case
thingiverse
I fashioned my own S5 Active case from scratch because there wasn't enough love out there for this phone model. My design was inspired by Matthew Gum's S5 Active model (https://grabcad.com/library/samsung-galaxy-s5-active-1), and I built it entirely from the ground up. My creation comes in two styles: Case 4 boasts a sleek minimalist design with no sides, while Case 5 features a wrap-around design with buttons cleverly placed on the sides. The back panel is hexagonal but can be easily customized to fit your unique style or needs. To sweeten the deal, I've included full CAD files so you can modify and print them to suit your taste. I tested my case with my S5 Active phone, and it snapped perfectly into both designs without any issues. The buttons on the side function seamlessly, giving me complete control over my phone. I also added a mic port that cleverly redirects sound from the front of the phone (where you speak) to the bottom (where the original port is located). A convenient loop on top allows for easy attachment of a lanyard or mount, and there's plenty of clearance at the bottom for the charging port - even when I removed the port cover.
