Samsung Galaxy Note Spin Bike Holder

Samsung Galaxy Note Spin Bike Holder

thingiverse

I built this custom phone holder from scratch for my wife's spin bike, which features a horizontal centre handlebar. It works like a charm, provided you clamp it firmly with some rubber mat - an old tyre tube will do just fine. This design accommodates phones measuring less than 160L x 80W x 11mm thick. You can even print the holder longer than 160 if needed. To assemble the phone holder, print each of its two parts separately and then glue them together using a standard cheap clear high-strength superglue found in multi-packs at your local supermarket. Make sure to apply glue to both sides, wait for 30 seconds, and then stick the parts together. The best part is that you can offset the holder if required - I had to do just that due to my bike computer's positioning. I printed this phone holder using a CTC printer with PLA filament, applying gluestick as needed, and positioned the pedestal fan about 50mmS speed while printing at .2mm layer height, 20% infill, and 2 layers. I also used a raft to prevent lifting issues during the printing process. Here are my print settings: Printer: CTC Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 20% This design is brought to you by 123 Design
