Samsung Galaxy Note 8 snap fit case
thingiverse
A snap fit case for Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The snap fit was inspired by Malolo's screw-less snap fit Raspberry Pi 4 Case (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3723561) I just needed a case for my phone, so I designed one. Caused by the shape of this phone one of the trickiest parts was to match the right radius for every edge. As I don´t like the Bixby-Button I upload two versions, one with cutout for the Bixby-Button (with Bixby) and the one I use (no Bixby), wich has space for the button inside but is not cut through all the way to the outer face. To print this you will have to flip the frame 180° so it gets printed face down on your printbed. To assemble the case I suggest to put the frame face down on a flat surface, place the phone inside, than snap the lower case on to the frame. This case might get some rework some time soon. If you have any suggestion on how you would like to see this case beeing improved, I´d be happy to get some ideas. Edit: uploaded two cura profiles. I used them to print my cases. Don't get confused by the name, one file is named Fairphone_Case but it works to print the Note 8 case too. Maybe the profiles can be helpfull to improve your settings to print this case. Just make shure you adjust them for your printer and filament. :) Edit: uploaded a honeycomb version of the snap fit case v2 and a TPU version wich is not snap fit, because bothparts are printed as one... also honeycomb ;)
