I was inspired by the sleek metal cases available online, but I knew that working with metal would create signal problems, so I decided to print my enclosure in PLA instead. The back of my case features a carbon fiber vinyl wrap, although you can leave it blank and use ironing techniques to achieve a high-gloss finish on top. I printed the front parts with support material, which gave them a smooth appearance after ironing was applied. If you're printing on glass, however, you can rotate your design and print without using supports at all.
