Start at the top of the phone and work your way down. Gently spread the sides to ease them around the power and volume buttons. The bottom will be more pliable due to the large cutout. One trick I learned is to carefully clean up any loose filament that may not have adhered, especially at the front of the case edges. You can remove one or two layers and the case will still stay put nicely.
