Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Dock

ATTENTION: Due to Samsung's recall of the Note 7 and their announcement, I've permanently discontinued production of this model. You should return your Note 7 for another Samsung device as a replacement. This single piece lets you mount the original USB Type C plug. There are two sound horns (yes, I know there is only one speaker on the bottom but it looks better symmetrical and the other horn can route sounds to the mic) so you can hear sounds without them being too muffled or distorted. I have some other USB Type-C cables on order and will post additional versions if they don't fit this model. There are mounting holes and guides on the bottom to align and mount the optional pad with. If you're looking for a dock for a Note 3 or 5, check my other version at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:952461 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:978535 Printing the unit is pretty straightforward. To mount the power cord, I attached it to the phone and put the phone in the dock. Once it was where I wanted it, I used hot glue to mount it in place. I routed the cord out the bottom and hot glued it down. There's an optional bottom pad that can be printed in a flex type material to serve as a non-slip bottom. Or you can print in a hard plastic and use it to trap the cord in the groove. Rubber feet can be put onto the hard plastic pad then. Note: The No Derivative restriction only applies to automated bots and being used as part of a multi-part creation.
