Samsung Galaxy Note 5 / Note 8 charger stand v2-2
thingiverse
After creating a similar product from Thingiverse, I completely redesigned the stand from scratch using Tinkercad to meet my specific needs and preferences. It works seamlessly with the Galaxy Note 8, thanks to "privsoft" for providing valuable follow-up information. The slot that holds the phone is narrower, ensuring it's always centered on the charger. To add extra convenience, I incorporated nubs to securely hold the phone when placed horizontally. Additionally, I reduced the size of the stand to accommodate the Samsung ep-pg9201 wireless charger perfectly. The curved opening allows easy access to the Home button, while rounded corners smooth out the edges and appearance. Three grooves on the bottom facilitate routing the power cord neatly. The finished dimensions are 107 x 74 x 107mm (width, depth, height), making it a compact fit for any desk or nightstand. I printed this stand using ABS with a resolution of 0.2mm to speed up the printing process. I maintained a Bed Temperature of 90c and Head Temperature of 230c during printing. The walls are 5mm thick, ensuring stability and durability. To prevent it from shifting on a surface, I recommend applying non-slip material to the bottom. This stand was printed with a Brim and Elmer's glue stick to secure it to the heated bed. While there are minor cracks due to layer separation as it cooled and shrunk during printing, they don't affect its functionality.
