Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 Projector Lens Cap with AirTag Holder

Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 Projector Lens Cap with AirTag Holder

thingiverse

This was created for the Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 projector, but may also work on the first generation also (I have not tested…).After losing my lens cap and finding out that a replacement is around $50 USD, I decided to make my own. I ordered a case on Amazon, and was keeping an Apple AirTag in the case, but thought it might be nice to incorporate an AirTag in the replacement lens cap. You will need to create a test ring to ensure that your printer is calibrated so the lens cap fits relatively tightly around the Freestyle. Or, filament is cheap, resize the lid if it doesn’t fit. This was the first version, but I decided it would be easier if I reverse the threads on the cap and also the AirTag holder so the threads will be on the outside of the AirTag holder in the cap itself. This one works just fine.
