Samsung dryers are plagued by a flawed pulley design that collapses after approximately one year of normal use. The factory-installed pulley features a metal-on-metal bearing that inevitably succumbs to grease failure, causing the plastic components to melt due to excessive heat. The replacement pulley boasts an innovative design, incorporating three skateboard bearings inserted into its center and secured with bolts onto the original armature. To facilitate this upgrade, utilize a drill press to carefully remove the existing metal post from the original pulley. Subsequently, install a nut and bolt assembly accompanied by multiple washers to ensure proper spacing of the new pulley. For optimal results, it is recommended that the replacement part be printed using nylon material. Additionally, you can access the dryer's interior through the vent opening, eliminating the need for disassembling the entire unit.
