Utilize your thumb to push the spring-loaded mechanism while lifting the hinge with the other hand, applying gentle force or light jerks if necessary to avoid rotating the hinge. 4. Repeat the process on the opposite side. 5. Remove the metal handle from the remaining hinges by unscrewing it. 6. Attach the handle to the new hinges and reverse the steps to complete the replacement.
