Samsung Curved Monitor Mount Adapter
thingiverse
This is an adapter I had to come up with in order to connect a 27 inch Samsung curved monitor to a common VESA mount bracket that can be found online for $20. I needed to attach the old Samsung curved monitor (Model C27F591FDE) to a monitor arm for my home office. It consists of two components. A) A small plug that prevents the monitor from sliding forward and backward, which is anchored into the 3rd party VESA mount with an existing screw in the mount. B) An adapter that slides over the top of the mount on the monitor to transform it into a rectangular block that can be wedged between a metal plate (which you have to find and cut yourself with a hacksaw etc) and the VESA mount. Use entirely at your own risk because you need to make sure: 1) You're using the same VESA mount. 2) You print 100% infill. 3) You print the insert (to stop the screen from sliding out of the grip) and use the same VESA mount as shown in my pictures. 4) You print the adapter, fit it properly, and wedge the adapter firmly between the VESA mount and a metal plate that you cut yourself. If it seems flimsy, it's probably not going to hold. So up to you to judge if it is good enough for your weight of monitor. Good luck! Please leave a comment if it helps you, and I'm happy to answer any questions if I've forgotten something. The monitor just pops off the existing mount with a firm tug which I did on the bed to ensure it doesn't hurt the monitor.
