Samsung Air Conditioner IR Receiver Cover

I have a VRF Samsung air conditioner which has a wall mounted IR receiver unit. When I turn the AC on, the receiver produces a very strong blue light. Some of the units are able to turn this light off via the remote but some do not (different models). So, I created a cover to block off the light while allowing the remote to still work. It is connected via magnets to the metal screws on the front. I used 8x2.7mm magnets, but the model can be easily modified for other sizes. The hole is meant to fit right over the IR eye. I made it beveled to increase the angle it can receive a signal.

I printed it it with the beveled hole facing down (see pic), and with the following settings:

20% fill

0.20mm layer height

Support on build plate only

You could use a color that matches your walls (e.g. white). Through I'm not sure if it would let any of the light through. If it does, you could print it in white up to about 2mm and then black the rest of the way for better light blocking.
