SAMSUN's Atatürk Monument - ONUR ANITI - Heinrich Krippel Samsun, İlkadım ======================================= May 19, 1919 - 100th Anniversary Atatürk'ü Anma, Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı ======================================= In commemoration of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's launch of the liberation struggle on May 19, 1919 in Samsun, The bronze Atatürk monument (Onur Anıtı), designed by sculptor Heinrich Krippel and inaugurated on January 15, 1932 in Samsun İlkadım district, has been adapted for 3D printing. The monument's 8.85-meter height was recreated using 3D scanning and photogrammetry methods, allowing it to be printed more efficiently. A new base with a diameter of 16 cm and a height of 20 cm was created, making scaling easier.
