Sam Cohn was a joyful boy with an infectious smile; he cherished his friends, family, pet dog, and bird deeply. His passions included guitar, snowboarding, lacrosse, and having fun. Born on May 28, 1992, Sam's life tragically ended when he was hit by a car in Florida on November 20, 2006. Despite the unfortunate incident, his strong body facilitated organ donation, saving four lives with his heart, liver, and kidneys. Sam's spirit remains alive through those who received his organs. His life lessons revolved around having fun, being caring, and supporting each other. Remembered as a true best friend by many, he is deeply missed. To honor his memory, SamStones - small fired clay rocks inscribed with Sam's name and website details - are crafted during community gatherings. These stones can be kept, passed on, or placed in a special spot. They carry a piece of Sam's joyful spirit. If you find a SamStone, share its story at http://samstones.org.
