Samson stood as the final judge of ancient Israelites listed in the Book of Judges within the Hebrew Bible. The Philistines seized him, prompting Samson to request support against one of the sturdy pillars; after receiving permission, he fervently prayed to God and miraculously regained his strength, enabling him to grasp the columns and bring them crashing down, taking his own life and all the Philistines with him. A sculpture displayed in the Burganov residence was crafted by Sergey Konenkov (1874–1971), a renowned Russian and Soviet sculptor. He earned the nickname "the Russian Rodin" due to his exceptional talent.
