Print out the two pieces separately and attach them using two thin hair bands as a shock mount. I haven't tested this modification yet to see if it improves performance over the standard clip, but it should function well. Keep all parts from your microphone nearby just in case this setup doesn't work properly. You'll also need to add a 1/4-inch - 20 nut to the base for mounting on a tripod.
