Enclosure for the amazing Samplerbox Project (or any other Raspberry Application that utilizes a 16x2 LCD Display and/or 4 Buttons - all Ports are fully accessible!). Samplerbox is open source midi software designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 2 B. Users can easily add .WAV Samples via USB-Stick or the SD-Card and play them with their favorite Midi Instrument! http://www.samplerbox.org/ http://samplerbox.readthedocs.io/ You'll need: 1x Raspberry Pi 2 B 1x HD44780 1602 LCD Display (both Serial and I2C work effectively) 4x 12mm Tactile / Push Button Switches 13x Short Small Screws (if yours are too long, washers are included in the Sketchup file) As well as some wires to connect everything - either ones with female pin headers or plain soldered ones. A Micro-SD-Card is also necessary and must be loaded with the Samplerbox-Software available from the "Read The Docs" Website (important: only those versions work with the setup for this project). Everything is easily accessible, allowing you to even switch out the Micro-SD-Card without opening the enclosure. You can use an optional external Audio Interface (which enables way better audio quality) easily with the USB-Ports - I didn't include a mounting option for that in this project yet. Also, there's no Port for a Midi-Jack, but that might come soon. If you have any questions regarding the Wiring and Setup, feel free to ask me and I'll try to help you get everything running. Building one is totally worth it - you get an awesome, versatile Sampler for under 50$.
