Sample Filament Tiny Spool

Sample Filament Tiny Spool

thingiverse

This is a small spool for sample filaments you likely have scattered everywhere. The files are divided into halves for later assembly. There are two versions: "szpula 1" and "szpula 2," which are smaller, with a 44mm hole and approximately 20mm wide for tiny samples. The halves fit loosely and require some glue to stick together. "SzpulaD1" and "szpulaD2" are slightly larger versions, with around 50mm holes and approximately 30mm wide. This one fits tightly, so the halves should join on their own. Each half weighs between 11-13 grams (PLA), consuming minimal material. It's recommended to print it with a double perimeter and at least 15% infill, but feel free to experiment. The big one was printed with a single perimeter, and it worked just fine. The spools have a tiny 2mm slit to catch the end of the filament when putting it on the roll (although the slit in the bigger version doesn't work well, so you'll probably need to drill a 1.75mm hole somewhere - maybe I'll modify the files to fix it someday... maybe).
