Sample Conventional & CNC Machining Assignments

This text is a reflection on the author's experiences as a mechanical engineering student. In their first year, they learned conventional machining techniques using various equipment such as milling machines and lathes. Their final project involved manufacturing components for a spindle assembly used in a buffing machine. In their second year, the focus shifted to CNC machining, where they learned CAD modeling and Mastercam X5 programming to create cutting programs for HAAS VF-0/VF-3 machines. The author shared two examples of assignments completed during this time.
