Samovar with a capacity of 300 litres

A 300-liter capacity samovar is produced, making it one of the largest operational samovars globally. The TM 'Zaporozhskiy Samovar' in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, manufactures these giants. The samovar consists of a base with an integrated wood-burning furnace, a cylindrical body with taps for dispensing hot water, and a removable lid. Stainless steel details the inner shell, while brass is used for the outer. Basalt wool serves as a heat insulator. For ease of transport and maintenance, wooden handles are fitted to the torso and lid, along with a circular handle. Refilling water involves removing the cover and pouring through the combustion chamber door. A built-in temperature sensor monitors temperature, while a transmitter manages water level control. Boiling water is distributed through 2-4 taps. A collapsible design allows four people to transport Zaporozhye samovars. The weight of the samovar is calculated as 1 kg per liter. Two servers and one roustabout are required for events, with a capacity of issuing 600 servings per hour from a single tap or 1200 portions per hour with two taps. Refilling, ignition, and boiling take 60-90 minutes, with re-boil taking 40 minutes. The project's tea accessories were beautified in collaboration with colleagues Hans de Ridder, IVO ALBERTI, and Fred F.
