Samoa lava

thingiverse

Hailing from Aopo Volcanic Field, the 1906 eruption produced pahoehoe lava on Savai'i, Samoa. This vesicular basalt is indicative of the hot-spot volcanism forming the Samoan Archipelago. Collected in December 2006, it was scanned at Iowa State University's GeoFabLab under Dr. Franek Hasiuk using a MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner in "Dark" setting.
