same vase - 20 different resolutions

This is the same vase in 20 different resolutions as STL file. From 2 million faces down to 20 faces. You can use this to compare different results on your printer, test your software, print it as art or use your favorite as a real vase. This collection is great for education too. Just print some to demonstrate the difference of resolutions, filesize and quality. Depending on your software, the count of vertices is shown differently: * The absolute count of vertices is [faces * 3] (for example: in MeshLab without deduplication) * The count of unique vertices is [faces / 2 + 2] (for example: if imported in Blender) All files are binary STL. **Resolutions** * 2 million faces * 1 million faces * 500,000 faces * 250,000 faces * 100,000 faces * 50,000 faces * 25,000 faces * 10,000 faces * 7,500 faces * 5,000 faces * 2,500 faces * 1,000 faces * 750 faces * 500 faces * 250 faces * 100 faces * 80 faces * 60 faces * 40 faces * 20 faces With less than 20 faces the result was too abstract to add it. All files were processed with different settings to keep the form as best as possible. **General hints** * Use vase mode to print it, 0.1-0.2 layers should be okay. * The 2 million face file is a 100MB file. On old hardware it can take very long to load or slice it. * All with less than 250 faces do not have a flat base so they are not easy to print. Check it twice in your slicer. Maybe cut the base a tiny bit. * Some slicers may have settings to smooth the skin. Check it if you want to keep the sharp edges. * Not sure but I guess on common printers you will not notice a difference between the files with more than ~50,000 faces. * Currently all are 120mm tall. Scale it to the size you need. For more "details" scale it up. **Hints for education** * Not sure but I guess edges are less visible with light filaments. So do not use white filament, use a dark one. * I guess this is a good selection to print: 250,000, 25,000, 7,500, 2,500, 750, 250. Copy & paste friendly table of faces, unique vertices and filesize in bytes: 2000000 1000002 100000084 1000000 500002 50000084 500000 250002 25000084 250000 125002 12500084 100000 50002 5000084 50000 25002 2500084 25000 12502 1250084 10000 5002 500084 7500 3752 375084 5000 2502 250084 2500 1252 125084 1000 502 50084 750 377 37584 500 252 25084 250 127 12584 100 52 5084 80 42 4084 60 32 3084 40 22 2084 20 12 1084 I did not print it yet, just made it for fun. If you made it, please post your make. Update: Add computed images of each vase
