Sam made a splash at the Big Bang Fair when he was scanned in stunning 3D using our high-tech rig. This incredible machine features an impressive array of 96 DSLR cameras that capture an astonishing total of 1.8 Giga pixels of data for each scan. We partnered with our friends at CapturingReality.com to process the data, and their cutting-edge software was instrumental in bringing Sam's image to life. By analyzing each image and identifying unique points on every frame, the software then plots these points in 3D space if they appear on multiple images, resulting in a remarkably accurate and detailed digital representation of Sam.
