In search of a really watertight salt shaker, I stumbled upon PET-Preforms. These are plastic blanks for returnable bottles that people often use as geocaching containers. Depending on the lid, they can also be waterproof. Check out the lid to see if there's an inlaid seal. For example, VILSA has perfect ones (see photo). I printed the insert from food-grade PETG. I also included an insert for pepper that you can print.
