Pollen from meadow clary (Salvia pratensis) originates in the Lamiaceae family. Meadow clary pollen exhibits six distinct colpi or furrows, a common characteristic found within the mint family. The technical description of Salvia pratensis pollen is documented by PalDat (Tweraser & Loos, 2016): medium-sized monads that are isopolar in nature and feature an elliptical shape when viewed from the polar side. These monads also possess stephanocolpate/hexacolpate patterns, along with a reticulate exine. This model forms part of the 3D Pollen Project.
