It's an adapter designed specifically for individuals who are missing a hand or fingers, allowing them to hold a medium thumb style guitar pick securely on their arm. The unique shape of the strap holes enables the strap to brace the adapter from both sides, making it extremely responsive. This adapter should work well for playing most stringed instruments and can be used on either arm. It's also beneficial for people who suffer from arthritis or partial paralysis, providing them with a convenient way to continue playing music. Next, adjust the tension between the two sides by sliding your finger under the strap on the loose side and moving it toward the strap hole so that the tight side gets the slack, and equalize the tension. For electric guitars or thin-bodied instruments, the adapter should point out at 9 o'clock for the right side and 3 o'clock for the left.
